Remembering Jesse McDaniel
The MLLC community joins with the family of Jesse McDaniel upon his sudden death due to heart health issues on August 28. Jesse and Wendy have been involved in the ministries of MLLC for several years. They official joined the church in 2018, and were received at worship in 2019. Most frequently they attended the Saturday evening, 6 p.m., worship service. Here is a photo of Jesse, along with his wife Wendy, and another new member that day, Sheryl.

THE OBITUARY
Jesse Lee McDaniel, Jr.
February 4, 1967 – August 28, 2021
Jesse McDaniel, Jr. of Carmine, passed away at home on August 28, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1967 to Jesse Lee McDaniel and Frances Ann Burton in Jacinto City, Texas. Jesse was baptized as a teenager at the First Baptist Church of Jacinto City. He transferred his membership to Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine by Affirmation of Baptism and Faith on March 9, 2019. Jesse joined the United States Navy serving on aircraft carriers Kitty Hawk and Nimitz. Jesse met the love of his life, Wendy Ullrich, while they worked at Continental Airlines McDaniel, then married on August 20, 1991.
Jesse was a founder and member of Fayette County Bee Keepers and a member of the Fayette County Fair Association, assisting with the poultry exhibit for several years. He got his passion for bees and gardening from his grandfather. Jesse especially loved taking his two rescue dogs, Gabby and Peanut for a ride in his truck. (Jesse swears he doesn’t have any dogs!) Jesse was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his five granddaughters.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Wendy McDaniel; parents, Jesse Lee McDaniel Sr. and wife Debbie of Crockett, his mother Frances Ann Ezell and step-father Travis of Hunstville, two daughters, Cassie McDaniel and Erryn Havard and husband Sean, both of Lufkin; brother Shannon McDaniel; and five granddaughters, Lily, Ella, Olivia, Audry, and Emory.
