Worship on Thanksgiving Eve 2019
We invite you to gather with God’s people for worship this week. Our annual Thanksgiving Eve worship service will be at MLLC on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
This will be a joint event with our primary partner church, Waldeck Evangelical Lutheran Church, and our Crossroads Shared Lutheran Ministries partner churches – St. Paul in Shelby and Bethlehem in Round Top. All four congregations will be together in one location for this special event.
Plan now to participate in this delightful time of giving thanks to God. We look forward to seeing you there.
An Invitation to Thanksgiving Eve
You are invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving Eve service this Wednesday, November 21, 2018. The service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the building of our partner church, Waldeck Evangelical Lutheran Church. That church is located at 6915 Waldeck Church Lane. This is at the intersection of FM 2145 and FM 1291, just 6.5 miles south of Ledbetter.
A new thing this year is that we have invited the other two churches from the Crossroads Shared Lutheran Ministries to worship with us. The people of St. Paul Lutheran in Shelby and Bethlehem Lutheran in Round Top will join with us for this special time of giving thanks. Of course, all from the community are invited to participate, even if they are not members of any of these four churches.
Our Annual Tradition is to gather as a community for worship and Holy Communion on the Wednesday evening before our national Thanksgiving Day.
We invite you to celebrate with us the goodness of our God. We invite you to rejoice with us in his merciful grace. We invite you to make worship with the community of faith a priority as you enter into this holiday.

The title we sometimes use for this sacred meal is “the Eucharist”. This word refers to the “giving thanks” which is done as we gather with Christ and his people for this Sacrament.
