We give thanks for the life of Lloyd Zwernemann, a lifelong member of MLLC.   Here is his obituary.

 

Lloyd Louis Zwernemann

January 01, 1928 – January 04, 2017

Lloyd Louis Zwernemann, 89, of Carmine, died January 4, 2017 in Brenham.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor David Tinker officiating. Burial will follow in Carmine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Lloyd Zwernemann was born January 1, 1928 in Fayette County, Texas to Quintus and Ella Jacob Zwernemann. Baptized Sept. 16, 1928 by Rev. H. Brunotte, he was confirmed Palm Sunday of 1942 by Rev. Brunotte. On March 1, 1949, he was married to Angelene Kasparek.
Mr. Zwernemann served in the U. S. military, and owned and operated Lloyd Zwernemann’s Sand and Gravel Hauling. He was a member of the Round Top Rifle Association.

Survivors include his wife, Angelene Zwernemann; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Rene Zwernemann of Round Top; daughter, Darlene Lozano of Somerville; grandchildren: Dustin Lozano and Torie Shimek; Derrick and Jill Lozano; Randall and Kate Zwernemann, and Raylon Zwernemann and friend, Kelly Maxwell; great-grandchildren: Lyla Zwernemann and others.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Quintus and Ella Zwernemann, and parents-in-law, Gus and Irene Kasparek.

Serving as pallbearers are Dustin Lozano, Randall Zwernemann, Raylon Zwernemann, Glenn Treude, Larry Pohl, and Earl Neumann. Honorary pallbearers are Louis Kartous, George Henneke, Percy Rudloff, and Gloria Hickey.
