PRESS RELEASE

True North Vacation Bible School Brings Faith and Fun to Carmine

Carmine, TX — June 29, 2025 — Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine, in partnership with Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top, recently hosted its annual Vacation Bible School under the theme “True North: Finding Your Way in a World Gone Wild.”

The program ran from Sunday, June 22 through Thursday, June 26, welcoming children ages 3 through 6th grade for evenings filled with music, Bible lessons, crafts, games, and meals. Junior high and high school youth joined adult leaders as volunteers, guiding younger participants and helping create an atmosphere of joy, learning, and fellowship.

Throughout the week, children discovered how Jesus is their unmovable, unshakeable friend forever—a rock-solid foundation in a shifting world.

The week concluded with a Closing Program on Sunday, June 29, held during the 10:00 a.m. worship service at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Families and congregation members gathered to celebrate as the children shared songs and highlights from their week of faith-filled fun.

Organizers extend their heartfelt thanks to all who participated, volunteered, and supported this year’s VBS, making it a meaningful ministry event for the Carmine and Round Top communities.

Looking ahead, planning is already underway for Vacation Bible School 2026, which will be held in June 2026. Families are encouraged to mark their calendars and join us again for another exciting week of faith, fellowship, and fun!
