I am a Lutheran Deaconess living and serving just outside of San Antonio, Texas. I love to teach, preach, write, and inspire people with my creativity. I write about lots of things, but I hover around topics of faith, church, and theology. I'm married to a Lutheran pastor and together we have two children who are fourteen years apart. My hobbies include ukulele and mixed media art.

Stellar VBS Registration Open

This year MLLC in Carmine and Bethlehem Lutheran in Round Top are teaming up to provide a Stellar VBS. Together, our churches will launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun. Children age 3-Grade 6 are invited to MLLC each night, Sunday, June 11-Thursday, June 15, from 5:30-7:45 pm. Supper will be provided.

You can register online now for Martin Luther Lutheran Church’s (MLLC) Monumental VBS 2022. Participants will gather at MLLC from Sunday, June 12-Thursday, June 16 from 5:30-7:45 pm for upbeat music, bible stories, and engaging activities. Children from preschool (age 3 minimum) through elementary school are invited to join the fun.

This week was the final meditation of three for a weekly series I presented at Martin Luther for Advent.

The series was called, The Arrival of Christ: Past, Present & Future. This week’s meditation was about Christ’s arrival in the future that we envision now as, God in Glimpses.
